CoreForm360 is a specialized personal training studio in Basking Ridge, NJ that helps clients achieve their “personal best” health, fitness, and performance in life.  We use science-based methods and “360” coaching on daily habits that impact progress in the gym.  Our vibe is fun and motivating, with a keen focus on proper form and exercise mechanics to maximize results and minimize the chance of injury. 

 

We are looking for a certified personal trainer/strength coach to join our team.  As a Certified Personal Trainer, you will be the ultimate provider of fitness, results, and an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

​

  • Current nationally recognized Personal Training Certification or a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or equivalent field is required

  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification required

  • At least 1 year of experience required; 3+ years preferred

  • Desire to transform lives through educating members on health and wellness topics

  • Understand principles of physical fitness and proper exercise technique

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to self-promote and network

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Adjust and operate fitness equipment

  • Ability to work in-person, evenings, and weekends

  • Effective time management and organizational skills

  • Basic computer and technology skills

  • Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching. As well as pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. at a time.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

​

  • Conduct consultations, assessments, and training sessions.

  • Schedule and confirm personal training sessions.

  • Assist clients in setting specific and attainable fitness goals.

  • Assist clients in determining training strategy/program.

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive fitness programs based on clients’ goals, capabilities, and limitations.

  • Teach importance of proper breathing when exercising.

  • Monitor participant’s progress & adapt programs as needed.

  • Motivate and inspire clients to get results through goal setting and frequent follow-up.

  • Observe clients and inform them of corrective measures necessary for skill and physical improvement.

  • Assist clients in maintaining exertion levels to maximize benefits from exercise routines.

  • Offer modifications to accommodate fitness levels.

  • Provide clients with factual information and resources to optimize daily lifestyle habits (nutrition, sleep, hydration).

  • Respond to safety codes and, if needed, administer CPR/AED services to a client.

  • Continue to pursue additional training knowledge through continuing education programs.

  • Actively participate in required meetings with management.
